HERE is your chance to select the best Victorian and Dream Team sides of the past 31 years.

The countdown is on to next Saturday’s Australian Football Hall of Fame Tribute match and you have the chance to choose the best ever Victorian and Dream Team sides.

All you have to do is select a starting 18 comprising the best Victorian side and the best 18 from the Dream Team which is selected from states and territories outside Victoria.

Fans will use the same rules of eligibility that the selectors of the two official teams will operate under.

The starting point will be 1977 – the year State of Origin football commenced – and can include players currently playing who have not had a chance to play State of Origin football, which was last played in 1999.

For example, players such as Chris Judd (Victoria) and Dean Cox (Dream Team) would be eligible even though they haven’t played State of Origin football.

Our expert panel has nominated 18 defenders, 18 forwards, 14 midfielders and nine followers for each team. To view all the nominations and vote for the best defenders, forwards, midfielders/onballers and ruckmen for each team, click here.

The final teams will be published in next week’s Australian Football Hall of Fame Tribute match Record
