ST KILDA and the Western Bulldogs have both bolstered their squads for this Saturday’s NAB Cup grand final.

Star Saints Nick Riewoldt and Brendon Goddard have been brought back into the team that knocked off Fremantle last week, while Bulldog pair Daniel Giansiracusa and Ben Hudson have also been included.

St Kilda defender Jason Blake was a late withdrawal from the side that defeated Freo by 70 points after suffering back tightness during the warm-up, but he has been named in the squad.

As expected, important midfielder Lenny Hayes will not take part after suffering a slight calf strain last week, while ruckman Michael Gardiner was also unable to prove his fitness.

Bulldogs skipper Brad Johnson will miss as he recovers from a leg injury. Giansiracusa will captain the Bulldogs in Johnson’s absence.

Promising Bulldog rookie Brodie Moles has also been given a chance to continue to push for elevation to the senior list after an impressive pre-season campaign, while Saints fans will be hoping to see if exciting youngster Rhys Stanley can continue his own eye-catching pre-season run of form.

St Kilda's squad includes 13 of the players who won the 2008 pre-season premiership, while no players on the Bulldogs’ list have experienced NAB Cup premiership success.
