Vice-captain James Clement, who felt calf tightness and withdrew during the warm-up against the Tigers, will return to the team and lead the side in the absence of Nathan Buckley.
Clement replaces fellow veteran Shane Wakelin in the 22.
All three of the players who debuted last Friday – Shannon Cox, Brad Dick and Alan Toovey, have been named in the starting 18 after impressive performances.
The match begins at 2.10pm, and with two wins from three rounds, represents a great chance for the Magpies to establish itself in the top eight at the this early stage of the season.
