The Sydney Swans Victorian-based membership has now reached a Club record of 9,300 Members.The Club now only needs another 700 members to reach their target of 10,000!

Memberships start at $110 for an adult and $40 for juniors and includes entry to the matches played in Melbourne as well as a Puma Members Cap! There is also a Swans Supporter membership which has no game access for $75.

When South Melbourne moved to Sydney in 1982 Club membership was less than 4,000. The support of the Swans continued when the team moved to Sydney, and over the past 25 years the Sydney Swans are continually reaching membership records.
In 2003 Sydney Swans past player and Team of the Century member Tony Morwood became General Manager of the Club's Victorian Office. At this time the membership number was at 4,280 and has increased every year since.
Currently there are 31,600 Members between Victoria and Sydney.
Some recent membership history of the Sydney Swans:
- In 1984, the second year of the Sydney Swans incarnation, memberships totalled just 2,750;
- In 1988 that number dropped to just 2,516;
- The 9,302 Melbourne members surpasses the 8,700 recorded in 2006Melbourne membership in 2003 was 4,280;
- The Sydney Swans first topped 10,000 total members in 1997 - rising from 9,525 in 1996 to 22,109;
- Membership topped 30,000 for the first time in 1998.
