Days after announcing it was taking bookings for two of the year’s biggest events, the North Melbourne Football Club has been swamped with orders, calls and enquiries.

The Syd Barker Club Champion and Adam Simpson Testimonial Dinner along with the 1999 Premiership Reunion Luncheon are guaranteed to exceed the expectations of all North Melbourne supporters.

With Brent Harvey injured for the majority of the season, the club will no doubt crown a new best and fairest winner at the Syd Barker Medal night. Brady Rawlings, Josh Gibson, Hamish McIntosh, Andrew Swallow and Scott Thompson are considered front runners for the highly prestigious award with Adam Simpson also turning in one of the best years of his career.

If he doesn’t take home the medal, Simpson will still have enjoyed enough of the spotlight with a testimonial dinner in his name coinciding with the Syd Barker event.
Simpson played his 300th AFL game earlier this year against the Adelaide Crows and has lead from the front after handing over the captaincy to Brent Harvey at the start of the season. The club veteran is yet to make a decision on his playing future, but regardless, will enjoy a memorable night with his team-mates, family and loyal fans.

Although it won’t feature in it, Grand Final weekend will still be a huge one for North Melbourne. It all kicks off on Grand Final Eve with the 1999 Premiership Reunion Luncheon. The event is set to make headlines across the country with Wayne Carey, Glenn Archer, Anthony Stevens, Shannon Grant, Brent Harvey, Peter Bell and David King all coming together to reminisce and share their memories of the Kangaroo’s fourth Premiership win.

Those with enough energy left, will of course attend an AFL institution in the North Melbourne Grand Final Breakfast the following day.
