Craig Sholl

Darren Crocker

Bio: Formerly a member of North's under 19's, Sholl played his first game in 1987.

It took him a few seasons to really make his mark but by 1991 he'd established himself as a defender; a role which earned him six state guernseys.

Sholl was a pivotal part of the Kangaroos' success throughout the 90's and despite a quieter year in 1995 he was able to re-invent himself in a new role.

He moved into attack with John Longmire and was injured in the first round of 1996. But he eventually became a reliable target and tallied 35 goals during the club's premiership season and 40 the following year.

A strong mark, he was also a member of the 1999 premiership side and kicked seven goals in his final game.

Bio: Crocker debuted in round 11 of 1985 as a member of the North Melbourne side that tied with Hawthorn.

In his first season he played 13 games including two finals but excelled two seasons later when he polled seven Brownlow votes after averaging 17 possessions.

He played most of the early part of his career as a half-forward or half-back, before finding a niche in the forward pocket.

Crocker had arguably his best season in 1992 when he ran second in the club's best and fairest, however injuries restricted him and he wasn't able to play as many games as he would have liked.

In 1996 he had a big impact in North's Grand Final side, kicking three goals as his team held the premiership cup aloft.
