How Dale Thomas and Fergus Watts fared for Collingwood and St Kilda respectively in the NAB Cup clash at Telstra Dome.

COLLINGWOOD - Dale Thomas:

Although Collingwood coach Mick Malthouse admitted after the match Thomas needed to do some work on his kicking, there were some promising signs for the first-gamer. The No.2 selection in last year's NAB AFL Draft, Thomas had a set-shot at goal from inside 50 during the third term, although it didn't register a major. He finished with eight touches, five marks and three tackles.

ST KILDA - Fergus Watts

The former Adelaide Crow booted one goal in the second term, which came at an important time as the Saints got back to within 10 points. St Kilda coach Grant Thomas said Watts competed well and showed "significant" impact in the second quarter. Although he finished with just three kicks and one handball, Thomas said he will only get "better and better" and will keep having a "crack".
