ADAM Cooney, Barry Hall, Michael O'Loughlin and Russell Robertson head this week's inclusions, while Josh Carr and Tyson Stenglein are the notable omissions for round six of the Toyota AFL Premiership Season.

North Melbourne has opted for experience for its huge clash with Collingwood on Friday night.

The Kangaroos have been forced to make two changes in the wake of serious injuries to key pair Brent Harvey (elbow) and Lachie Hansen (hamstring).

And they will gain almost 300 games' experience, with midfielder Daniel Harris and key defender Shannon Watt both set to play their first matches for 2009.

Collingwood has also recalled senior players, with big guns Nick Maxwell and Heath Shaw to return.

The Magpies welcome back their skipper from a two-match suspension, while Shaw has overcome a hamstring injury.

Defenders Shannon Cox and Tyson Goldsack have both been omitted from the side that lost the Anzac Day clash in the dying seconds.

Hawthorn continues to struggle to settle its line-up, regaining premiership players Brent Guerra and Michael Osborne but losing Clinton Young to a hamstring injury ahead of Saturday's clash with the Blues.

Cameron Stokes drops back to the emergency list along with Ryan Schoenmakers and Ben McGlynn.

Carlton has rewarded rookie Greg Bentley for his good form in the VFL with an upgrade to the senior list. The former Power player goes straight into the side to face the Hawks and replaces Chris Johnson (thigh) who will miss at least three weeks.

Joe Anderson, Steven Browne and Richard Hadley are the emergencies.

West Coast has dropped onballer Stenglein just three weeks after he played his 200th AFL game. Will Schofield also departs the side, with Chris Masten and debutant Adam Cockie named for the cross-town clash.

Schofield and Stenglein are emergencies with Mark Seaby.

Fremantle will also hand out a debut with Matt de Boer to play his first game in captain Matthew Pavlich's 200th.

Marcus Drum, Andrew Foster and Daniel Gilmore make up the emergency list.

The Brisbane Lions have made four changes in the wake of a heavy loss to the Cats, but only two of them are unforced. Prolific ball-winner Bradd Dalziell is out with a knee injury, Tom Collier has an AC joint problem while Jason Roe and Lachlan Henderson were omitted.

Sam Sheldon will wear coach Michael Voss' old No. 3 guernsey in his debut game with Scott Harding, Albert Proud and Cheynee Stiller all earning recalls.

Essendon has replaced knee victim David Hille with Cale Hooker.

Jay Neagle, John Williams and Bachar Houli are the emergencies.

Port Adelaide has made two unforced changes ahead of its home showdown with the Crows. Carr will miss his first opportunity to renew his rivalry with Adelaide since returning from Fremantle with Nick Lower also dropped.

Coming in for the pair are Peter Burgoyne and Matt Thomas, free after serving suspensions.

Carr is an emergency with Matt Westhoff and Toby Thurstans.

Adelaide escaped unscathed from its low-scoring win over the Demons and will go unchanged.

Brad Moran, Jarrhan Jacky and Robert Shirley are the emergencies.

The Sydney Swans look like fielding their most potent side for 2009 after recalling star forwards Hall and O’Loughlin for Sunday’s clash with Richmond at the SCG.

O’Loughlin hasn’t played an AFL match since round 16 last season when he injured an ankle but has spent three weeks in the reserves. Hall comes back after recovering from a groin complaint.

The Swans could make up to five changes with Paul Roos to finalise his squad on Friday. And former Canadian rugby international Mike Pyke would cap an astonishing transition should he make his AFL debut.

While Craig Bird (back) is out for the Swans, so too is back-up ruckman Jesse White (illness), meaning Pyke might get the call-up to support Darren Jolly.

Jarred Moore looks set to return, while Ryan Brabazon is also a possibility to line-up against the Tigers.

Richmond is yet to make any alterations to the team that chalked up its first win of the season but has added three players to an extended squad.

Andrew Raines, who resumed from a knee injury in the VFL last week, Shane Edwards and Jay Schulz could all come into the final 22.

There’s still no sign of Ben Cousins or Trent Cotchin with the midfielders set to play for Coburg this week.

They appear at least another round away from a return to AFL action.

Melbourne’s forward line has received a shot of excitement with the spring-heeled Russell Robertson to return from an achilles injury against Geelong on Sunday.

Robertson comes in for his first match since round 10 last season, while Addam Maric also looks likely to play. Kyle Cheney is another in the mix for the Demons who are yet to trim their 25-man squad.

Geelong appears unlikely to make any changes to the team that thrashed the Brisbane Lions last week, however, Tom Lonergan, Ryan Gamble and Nathan Djerrkura are all on the extended interchange.

The Western Bulldogs regain Cooney and Jason Akermanis and add Andrejs Everitt, Tim Callan and Stephen Tiller to an extended bench for Sunday's twilight match against the Saints.

St Kilda loses one big man in Steven King, but regains Koschitzke and has added Luke Miles, Ben McEvoy and David Armitage to a seven-man bench.
