Gun midfielder Brad Crouch put in another strong performance as the Crows held on to beat South Adelaide by six points at Encounter Bay Oval on Sunday.
Crouch won 31 disposals, 11 clearances and six tackles in his second straight SANFL game. A hamstring injury plagued him in the pre-season.
Draftee Jordan Gallucci hurt his calf in the second term and sat out the rest of the match.
Gallucci was selected at No. 15 last year and is a midfielder with serious speed.
Tall targets Harry Dear (3.7) and Elliott Himmelberg (3.0) hit the scoreboard while Myles Poholke kicked two goals straight.
Harrison Wigg was excellent out of defence with 30 disposals and seven inside 50s.

Allen Christensen made his return from a broken collarbone and collected 24 disposals and a goal in the Lions' 59-point win against Southport at South Pine Sports Complex on Saturday.
The former Cat was injured at training in February.
Draftee Alex Witherden continued to press for a spot in the senior side with 26 disposals and 10 marks while Ryan Harwood impressed with 28 disposals and three goals.
Michael Close (2.3) and Jonathan Freeman (1.4) were inaccurate in front of goal.
Promising onballer Ben Keays had 28 disposals and kicked a goal while Liam Dawson was influential with 31 disposals, 17 marks, seven inside 50s and six rebound 50s.
Jake Barrett, who was dropped from the senior team, responded with 30 disposals, 12 marks and 2.2.
State league affiliate: Northern Blues (VFL)
This weekend: AFL-AIS Academy, Etihad Stadium - Saturday
Midfielder Sam Kerridge racked up 40 disposals for the Northern Blues in a 75-point win against the AFL-AIS Academy squad at Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
The 23-year-old also booted a goal.
Draftee Cameron Polson was best on ground after he picked up 28 disposals and one goal. Polson can play through the forward line or as an onballer.
Former Giant Kristian Jaksch slotted three goals while promising tall Harry McKay finished with two.
Rookie Andrew Gallucci kicked four as the Blues ran out comfortable winners, 17.12 (114) to 6.3 (39).

Big-name recruit Daniel Wells put himself in the mix for selection for Anzac Day after a successful return from a calf injury.
The 32-year-old played most of the game, running through the forward line and in the midfield, with his class apparent whenever he touched the ball.
Suspended midfielder Jordan De Goey was one of his side's best in his return from a broken right hand suffered in a bar fight.
De Goey can play in the VFL but will not be available for selection at senior level for the next two weeks.
He booted three goals and his strength was obvious at stoppage situations.
"He was lively. I'm enjoying the three weeks' suspension on my behalf. Clearly he's a good player and … he's just one of those guys we're missing out there at AFL level," coach Jared Rivers said.
Dropped forward Chris Mayne booted two goals and worked hard up the ground.
"His energy around the forward half (was good) and he kicked a couple of vital goals for us late," Rivers said.
Josh Daicos displayed the class that Magpies fans were hoping to see and finished with two goals.
Backman Matthew Scharenberg was very good and was influential in a couple of contests late as his side hung on to beat Coburg, 9.10 (64) to 9.8 (62).
Key defender Sam McLarty was hurt in a marking contest and sported a limp after the game while Brayden Sier suffered a head knock.
State league affiliate: Essendon (VFL)
This weekend: Sandringham v Essendon - Saturday, April 15, 2pm, Trevor Barker Beach Oval
Rookie Ben McNiece was one of Essendon's best in its narrow round one loss to Sandringham.
The 25-year-old, who was signed from Essendon's VFL list at the end of last season, was polished in defence with 23 disposals and nine marks.
Essendon VFL coach Paul Corrigan praised the Category B rookie.
"He was really controlled down back, he generated some really good ball movement for us when we needed it," Corrigan said.
"Heath Hocking (29 touches) also did a lot of work inside for us and was really strong around the contest."
Aaron Francis played both forward and in the middle, finishing with a goal, seven tackles and six marks.
Craig Bird was also busy with 23 disposals.
State league affiliate: Peel Thunder (WAFL)
This weekend: Peel Thunder v West Perth - Friday, April 14, 2.15pm, Bendigo Bank Stadium
Runner Darcy Tucker picked up 27 disposals and a goal in Peel Thunder's 35-point loss to West Perth on Friday afternoon at Bendigo Bank Stadium.
Tucker, 20, played in the senior team for the opening two games of the season.
Ruckman Jonathon Griffin won 43 hit-outs and 12 disposals.
Forward Matt Taberner collected 25 disposals and three goals in a very good display while Cameron Sutcliffe had 23 disposals.
Nick Suban copped a heavy hit in the first half and sat out much of the game on the bench.

Defender Jake Kolodjashnij was among the best players for the Cats in his return from injury as his side beat Werribee by 25 points in Torquay on Sunday afternoon.
Kolodjashnij, 21, had struggled with a groin concern and has not played at senior level this year in either the home-and-away competition or JLT Community Series.
Former North Melbourne forward Aaron Black picked up 22 disposals and a goal while draftee Esava Ratugolea slotted three himself.
Rhys Stanley finished with 28 hit-outs and Wylie Buzza had 17 as Geelong ran out 14.16 (100) to 10.15 (75) winners.

Returning midfielder Pearce Hanley injured his ankle and finished the game in a moon boot as the Suns beat Aspley by 14 points on Saturday at South Pine Sports Complex.
Hanley was making his return after he spent a few weeks in Ireland for the funeral of his younger brother Tommy.
He collected 11 disposals and kicked a behind before being forced off the ground.
Former Hawk Mitch Hallahan suffered a hamstring injury. Both players were injured in the first half.
Long-kicking left-footer Trent McKenzie racked up 32 disposals while Josh Schoenfeld (30), Darcy MacPherson (27) and Jesse Lonergan (25) were also prolific.
All four each slotted a goal.
Youngsters Will Brodie (23 disposals) and Callum Ah Chee (22 disposals and a goal) also won their share of the ball.
State league affiliate: GWS Giants (NEAFL)
This weekend: Canberra v GWS Giants - Saturday, April 15, 12pm, Alan Ray Oval
Hard nut Matt de Boer picked up 24 disposals and two goals on limited game time in his return from a hamstring injury as the Giants lost to Canberra by 16 points at Alan Ray Oval on Saturday.
The former Docker played about 65 per cent of the game, mostly in the midfield but also up forward, and impressed coach Brad Miller.
"What he gave us from a leadership point of view, and the way he attacks the contest, was terrific," Miller told AFL.com.au.
Draftee Harry Perryman won 26 disposals and kicked three goals. He came to the club as a half-back but has played on the ball and drifted forward at times against Canberra.
"It's more his composure in traffic that's really making a difference. He's shown a lot over the first few weeks," Miller said.
Rookie Dan Lloyd notched up 36 disposals. Lloyd was originally an explosive forward but his toughness has been important around the footy.
Harrison Himmelberg copped a heavy knock to the ribcage but fought through to collect 21 disposals.

Former No. 2 draft selection Jonathan O'Rourke played three quarters in his return from a hamstring strain in a two-point win against Footscray at Whitten Oval on Friday.
O'Rourke notched up 25 disposals, four inside-50s and a goal after missing about a month with the injury, but sat out the final term.
He was picked second overall in 2012 and has played nine games in just over two seasons since crossing over from Greater Western Sydney.
Midfielder Dallas Willsmore won 31 disposals, six inside-50s and booted a long-range goal.

Big man Jack Fitzpatrick impressed with his contested marking and slotted two goals while Kade Stewart excelled with 26 disposals, nine tackles and a goal.

Defender Michael Hibberd made his return from an Achilles injury on Monday as the Casey Demons lost to Williamstown by 23 points at Burbank Oval.
Hibberd notched up 25 disposals.
The 27-year-old hasn't played in the AFL since round 22, 2015, when he was at Essendon. The left-footer missed all of last season with a doping ban and was traded to the Demons.
Angus Brayshaw, who was drafted with the third pick in 2014, won 24 disposals and kicked a goal while former Melbourne co-captain Jack Trengove was one of his side's best and collected 33 disposals and a goal.
Tall option Cameron Pedersen had 29 disposals, along with a goal, as Williamstown won, 12.11 (83) to 8.12 (60).

Promising forward Mason Wood made his return from knee surgery and kicked a goal in the 25-point loss to Geelong in Torquay on Sunday.

Mitch Hibberd copped a head knock while going for a mark and was stretchered off, but was walking around after the game.

The 27-year-old was picked up as a mature-aged rookie at the end of last season.
Wingman Jimmy Toumpas collected 28 disposals and nine marks while tough draftee Joe Atley had 18 disposals and seven tackles.
Young key forward Todd Marshall was quiet with seven disposals, four marks and 1.2.
Port held on to win, 12.17 (89) to 13.8 (86).

Ben Lennon responded to his omission from the senior team in style, booting six goals in the Tigers' mammoth 188-point thumping of North Ballarat.
Midfielder Anthony Miles continued his push for selection with a typically industrious 35-disposal, two-goal match.
Sam Lloyd was dominant with 27 touches and five goals, while forgotten midfielder Jacob Townsend also kicked five.
First year rookie Tyson Stengle finished with three goals, and Taylor Hunt had 24 disposals.

Dumped key forward Paddy McCartin booted two goals as Sandringham held on to beat Essendon by seven points at Trevor Barker Beach Oval on Saturday afternoon.
McCartin was drafted with the first selection in 2014 but was left out of the senior team after a poor performance in the round three win against the Brisbane Lions.
Nathan Freeman collected 15 disposals in his second game back from a hip injury.
Former Western Bulldog Koby Stevens racked up 28 disposals while Darren Minchington had the same number, along with four goals.

Key defender Eric Mackenzie, who won the Eagles' best and fairest in 2014, was among the best and notched up 25 disposals and 13 marks.
Onballer Mark Hutchings won 32 disposals while Dom Sheed had 24, along with a goal.
Despite being thumped, the Royals won the disposal count by a significant margin, 440-351.
Subiaco led at every change to run away with the comprehensive victory, 20.15 (135) to 6.8 (44).

Omitted premiership player Caleb Daniel was among Footscray's best as the Dogs fell to Box Hill by two points at Whitten Oval on Friday afternoon.
Daniel won plenty of the ball, was clean with his disposals, and finished with a goal. He started relatively slowly but worked his way into the game well.
It was a similar story for fellow premiership player Shane Biggs, whose rebound off half-back improved as the match went on.
Stewart Crameri, who has been struggling with a hip injury, sat out the second half and booted a goal in a quiet game.
Draftee Patrick Lipinski kicked four goals while Fergus Greene nailed three himself.
Exciting ruck prospect Tim English was among the best players for the Dogs as Box Hill won, 15.5 (95) to 14.9 (93).
