It was the match that boosted the Power to second on the ladder, after they stole a victory over the Hawks with the last kick of this round 20 encounter in Tasmania.

In a thrilling final term, the Hawks led by a point with three seconds remaining, after the Power had burst back into contention.

Then, as the clock wound down, Brett Ebert slotted a goal that put the Power five points up. The ball was returned to the centre but the siren sounded as soon as it was bounced.

Ebert's goal signalled a remarkable win for the Power after the Hawks had shrugged off an early deficit and built a 16-point buffer at the final change.

But the electrifying final stanza, which saw the Power get back into the match with two goals from 50m penalties, had the eventual Grand Finalists snatch a win from the jaws of defeat.

The Hawks were left wondering, and Jordan Lewis cursing after he shanked a set shot with a minute remaining, before Ebert allowed the the Power to pinch the four points.
