Corporate Sales Executive

The Brisbane Lions A.F.C, arguably the AFL's most successful team and brand over the last decade, is seeking to appoint a talented and dedicated Corporate Sales Executive to become a valued member of their team. The Brisbane Lions A.F.C has diverse service offerings, an ever increasing profile and strong brand.

Reporting to the Corporate Sales Manager, you will be required to grow and develop our Corporate Hospitality business through growing relationships with an existing list of Corporate Clients and by prospecting and converting new sales opportunities. The Corporate Sales Executive will have the confidence and drive to hunt for new business opportunities whilst being proactive in chasing leads and referrals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Establishing relationships with current corporate clients to increase sales revenue and grow the partnership.
2. Implement a strategic renewal program for assigned existing customers.
3. Develop a robust pipeline of new business leads in order to reach assigned revenue targets.
4. Obtain new business sales targets as agreed with the Corporate Sales Manager.
5. Working with the wider Sales team to implement promotional programs.
6. Host current clients at Club events including match days.
7. Deliver a consistently high level of service in order to maximise customer satisfaction and repeat sales.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a successful track record in business development and sales account management within a B2B sales environment. Your proven ability to establish strong working relationships together with your credibility to build rapport and gain trust with people at all levels is paramount to your success in this position. You will be driven to succeed with a passion for sales and will possess the flair and motivation to open new doors to pursue profitable business opportunities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for securing this challenging and rewarding position. Exposure to the Brisbane corporate market is highly advantageous. Candidates should be tertiary qualified, ideally in business or marketing, and have sound knowledge of the operation of the Microsoft Office suite and basic computing skills.

A competitive salary package and incentive programme is on offer for the successful candidate. General business hours will be from 8:30am - 5:00pm Mon -Fri, however match day and Club Event participation will be required.
