Here are Josh's answers to this week's top questions:

Hey Josh,
West coast are so awesome. I go to Nagle and live around Northampton and know Shannon :) Well I was just wondering what kind of recovery do you do after games and is it different every week ??? Hopefully you will answer this.
Cheers Phoebe Vlahov :)

Hey Phoebe,
Near Mounimia hey! I'm liking that! Great place Northampton! Recovery is an important aspect of our game, and it becomes really important during the season because of games each week. After home games we either get a quick massage, just real soft to flush all the lactic acid out and then we hop into the pool, do a bit of movement for about 10/15 mins then into the ice baths which are from 8 degrees to 11 degrees and stand in there for a minimum of 10 mins. If you get a cork you will ice that straight away and then ice every two hours for 20 mins. On away games, we do a stretch then ice bins and usually fly out that night so we meet back at the club the next day to do a recovery session. Our recovery sessions the day after a game consist of walking and jogging, a 20-minute stretch session and then pool and
ice baths!  I'm usually doing recovery till Thursday because I'm always sore haha!!

Hi JK,
Freaking awesome amazing incredible win on Sunday!!! I know Woosha always says it’s just another game and only worth four points etc but did it feel any different winning the derby? It sure felt different to me! What was it like after the game? My brother is a Dockers supporter and he’s still not talking to me hahaha.
Cheers bro, Steven

Hey mate,
Yeah was a great feeling!! My first derby win so I was excited! It was just another game and we did get the four points, but because it's been so long and it was the Dockers it felt a little bit sweeter. And I'm sure a lot of the boys feel the same as well!!!

Dearest Joshy!
Yes, here is another one of your loyal fans and followers. Had to laugh about you enjoying "Pitbull - Give Me Everything", it’s a great song hey? May I recommend a song to you? It’s similar in a way, "Shots - LMFAO ft Lil Jon", I’m sure you'll love it! Always gets me fired up before a game!  My question to you is in regards to photos with fans and etc. I have a fantastic photo of yourself and I from last year at the post-match Function in Adelaide, and me being the wild snap shot poser lover I am, I ask are you guys, as players, allowed to take wild snap shots with fans? Or is there kind of a "smile and nod is all" policy, to restrict bad images being leaked onto the internet or something?  Also what do you actually do with your spare time? Considering I’m sure football wouldn't leave much for it! Just chill on the Playstation? Entertain the missus? Hit the pub? Or clubs?
Mad Love always, Byron

I'll definitely check that song out, might sneak it on to Matty Rosa’s warm-up room mix before games! Yeah we can take photos with fans but I suppose it depends on what they ask! If it's wearing a silly hat or sunnies or something then I don't mind doing that and I’m sure a few of the boys will as well! But if you ask "Hey can you take your clothes off and skull this beer with a ciggy in the other hand?” then I might decline! Haha when people ask me for funny pics I usually just hope that photos are for the person taking them and there not there to paste it all over the net and make you look like a goose! But you do have to be careful.
My spare time man is taken up with my two businesses that are running at the moment. The first is Josh Kennedy’s Small Moves, a removal and delivery business, and the second is Sleepy’s in Osborne Park, a mattress store. Both keep me busy with behind-the-scenes work.  Also, I do a part-time cabinet maker apprenticeship with Anthony Johns Cabinets.  So if you need someone to move house for ya, and need a new mattress, and kitchen you know who to call!

Hey Josh,
Tough ask to back it up against the Bulldogs this week, what do you see as their main strengths? Do you reckon Embers and Kerry will be back and if not, will we go in with an unchanged side or bring someone in from the WAFL? You guys rule.
From Sam

Hey Sam,
Yeah big week for us, but we are looking forward to it. The Bulldogs get good run off half-back, so hopefully we can stop that and dictate the game a lot more. Hopefully the two boys get up, both will be doing some training and hopefully we will know by Saturday! But if not, I'm not sure of any changes. The coaches will pick a squad and decide Saturday, I don't think there would be many changes, but that's not my call. Hopefully Kerry and Embers get up because they are two key strengths for us!

Hi Josh,
Great to see you in solid form for the Eagles. I was just interested to know what was your path into the AFL from when you were a junior to where you are now? As a junior, I have always wondered how players get picked up from their junior club team and what is the best way! Great win over Fremantle and hopefully the boys can sustain their form for the rest of the season.
Good luck to you and the boys for the rest of the season!
From your #1 fan James

James mate good question,
I'm from Northampton which is about five hours from Perth. All WAFL clubs have zoning areas all over WA and ours is East Fremantle. They set up development squads,  training clinics etc all through your juniors which is where you get the chance to play down in Perth for certain development carnivals all run by your zoned WAFL club.  My path was a little late compared to others, I was a late inclusion in the under 16s squad and I didn't come in until about five weeks before they picked the team.  Then was lucky enough to get selected and played 16s and 18s. Then when I finished school in 2004, I moved to Perth in 2005 and played with East Freo, then I was lucky enough to get drafted to Carlton at the end of that year. The WAFL clubs invest a lot of money for all the development squads etc and if you ever get the chance to be involved, do it because it's a great experience whether you pursue a career in footy or not!
