An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic HR Generalist to join the Western Bulldogs. We are one of the 18 clubs of the Australian Football League (AFL) and situated in the fastest growing region of Australia.
This stand-alone position will be responsible for providing organisational development, human resource advice and guidance to our growing workforce.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Managing all aspects of the HR function including recruitment, induction and general employment contract administration
• Providing HR advice and coaching to managers
• Embedding our leadership and cultural program across the whole organisation
• Developing and updating HR policies and procedures
• Working with managers to resolve people related issues
• Working with managers and staff to identify training and development needs and find suitable solutions
• Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant workplace laws, regulations and awards
• Ensuring OH&S standards are met
• Development of performance management and reward and recognition systems
• Managing HR projects as required
To be considered for this role you must hold the relevant tertiary qualifications, have a minimum four years’ experience in Human Resources. It is also expected that you will have solid understanding of legislation and awards and proven capacity to improve HR systems, processes and procedures.
