GEELONG has recalled star midfielder Joel Corey for its preliminary final clash with West Coast on Saturday.
The 29 year-old has been battling a groin complaint and hasn't played since the Cats' round 21 win over Adelaide.
Corey replaces young forward Daniel Menzel, who ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in the qualifying final defeat of Hawthorn.
Premiership players Cam Mooney, Darren Milburn and Shannon Byrnes have all been named as emergencies.
The Eagles have not made any changes to the line-up that beat Carlton by three points last Saturday night.
As expected, minor premier Collingwood has regained All Australians Ben Reid and Dale Thomas for its preliminary final against the Hawks on Friday night.
Reid missed the Magpies' first final with a groin complaint, but proved his fitness at training at Gosch's Paddock on Thursday morning.
Thomas has served his two-game suspension for a high bump on Fremantle's Garrick Ibbotson in round 23.
Making way for the big name duo are Tyson Goldsack and Alex Fasolo.
Hawthorn has selected an unchanged team for the clash.
Coleman medallist Lance Franklin will take his place, having recovered from a stomach bug that grounded him early in the week.
