Driven to be recognised and respected as the most successful sporting club in Australia, both on and off the field, we are now seeking a VFL Assistant Coach (Casual Position) to join our VFL team.

Reporting to the VFL Head Coach you will be responsible for:

• Assisting in fast tracking and ‘up skilling’ the technical, tactical and attitudinal competence of all players in the midfield;
• Assisting the VFL coaches in enhancing player skills and game structures;
• Educating and developing a wide variety of players from different backgrounds;
• Implementing a game plan; and
• Managing the relationships between AFL and VFL talent.

The successful candidate will preferably have the following experience and attributes:

• Level 1 & or Level 2 coaching qualification;
• Seeking a career in coaching at the highest level;
• Have a sound working knowledge of coaching strategies;
• Previous experience developing a successful culture;
• Previous coaching experience in an elite / semi professional football environment (preferred but not essential).

Must be available for the following hours;

• Monday, Wednesday and Friday - 5pm to 8.30pm during preseason
• Monday, Tuesday and Thursday - 5pm to 7:30pm during the season
• Match day – 11am to 5.30pm
• All hours are approximates
