The WA Hawks Supporter Group have made their second life-long commitment to Hawthorn by once again joining The Glenferrie Gold - the Life Patrons of the Hawks Museum.
The group initially joined in 2009, being one of only two supporter groups in the Life Patrons (along with the Bendigo Hawks Supporter Group).
The Glenferrie Gold thrives on the generosity and support of such groups and ardent fans, and it is thanks to these groups that the Hawks Museum has been able to develop a wide range of displays and memorabilia at the Waverley Park facility since 2007.
Some of the most recent developments and exhibits made possible through the financial support of The Glenferrie Gold have been:
- The Heart and Soul of the Brown and Gold (an exhibit that honours three of our former players annually - this year consisting of Jack Blackman, Alan Martello and Richard Loveridge)
- The added lighting to the Club Supporters exhibits
- The Famous Footballs display 2010
- The new display panels featuring Waverley Park and the 1925 team (first year in the VFL) that greets the visitors on the stairway from the HawksNest
- The new Legends Cabinet in the entrance foyer on Level 1
- New displays to be installed during 2011- the 1961 Premiership 50th Anniversary, the Shane Crawford Tribute and the refurbishment of the Brownlow Cabinet
The Hawks Museum is proud of the 66 members of The Glenferrie Gold Life Patrons. The benefits of being a Life Patron are many:

- Your name on the Life Patrons Honour Board in the Hawks Museum
