WITH ST KILDA leading by just three points early in the second half of its clash with Fremantle, the pressure in the third quarter was keeping both sides from scoring. The Saints had pushed their way forward and Fremantle was continuing to defend.
Goalsneak Adam Schneider was lurking dangerously, but instead of having a trademark snap he handballed over to Nick Dal Santo. Dal Santo's little chip kick at goal was pushed to Fremantle's Tendai Mzungu, who didn't have time to react and punch the ball through for a behind.
It was the clever Schneider who reacted first and jumped onto the loose ball. His snap sailed through for a goal, the first of the term, which gave the Saints a nine-point break in the tense clash.
