POWER forward Daniel Motlop has accepted a one-match sanction for engaging in rough conduct against Michael Doughty during the second quarter of the Round One NAB Cup match against the Crows on Saturday.

Motlop will now miss the Power's Round Two NAB Cup clash against West Coast at Subiaco.

The incident was assessed as reckless conduct (two points), low impact (one point) and body contact (one point). This is a total of four activation points, resulting in a classification of a Level One offence, drawing 125 demerit point and a one-match sanction. He has 93.75 points carried over from within the last 12 months, increasing the penalty to 218.75 points and a two-match sanction. The early plea reduced the penalty by 25 per cent to 164.06 points and a one-match sanction.
