THE REMARKABLE goal sense of Magpie Dale Thomas has continued, with the exciting midfielder again featuring in the nominees for the AFL Goal of the Year.

Thomas earned this week’s nomination during the second quarter of the Pies' dominant win over the West Coast Eagles.

After receiving the ball just outside the Pies’ defensive 50, Thomas ran hard and took four bounces before kicking a brilliant goal.

He created a bit of magic out of almost nothing.
