HE MAY be the star attraction, but Lance Franklin won’t be sporting his famous No. 23 for the Dream Team this weekend.

That honour goes to captain Andrew McLeod, who had preference due to seniority.

The man known as ‘Buddy’ will instead wear 3 while another club No. 23, West Coast captain Darren Glass, will have 10.

Players listed their choices for the number they wanted to wear on Saturday night and 23 of the players selected to the Dream Team’s 30-man squad will retain those they don for their clubs.

There was a queue of players wanting numbers 4 and 18. Daniel Kerr and Kane Cornes were the lucky two to get their first choice, but Graham Johncock, Luke McPharlin, Daniel Motlop and Daniel Cross were forced to look elsewhere.

Adelaide’s Nathan Bock will wear No. 15, while Bulldog Adam Cooney will pull on 5 if he can shake a niggling ankle injury.

Identifying players should not be a problem with some of the most recognisable heads in football making up this side.

But it would be worth double-checking the list just in case.
