HAWTHORN might be off to Tasmania for another four games next season, but its Melbourne followers will be treated to an extra two matches at the MCG and one less interstate trip in total.

The Hawks will play 10 matches at the MCG in 2008, and four at Telstra Dome (one less than this year), while they'll hit the road just four times, excluding their Tasmania commitments.

Supporters will also be given back-to-back Friday night blockbusters, with the Hawks set to face Geelong and Collingwood in rounds 17 and 18 on the big stage. They have been given three Friday night games in total, as well as two twilight timeslots (round one v Melbourne and round six v Richmond, both at the MCG).

The side will play at Aurora Stadium in rounds four (v Adelaide), eight (v Port Adelaide), 10 (v the Western Bulldogs), and 19 (v the Brisbane Lions), while the Hawks also travel to Perth (round two v Fremantle and round 21 v West Coast), Brisbane (round five v the Lions), and Adelaide (round 12 v the Crows).

They play Melbourne, the Kangaroos, Adelaide, the Brisbane Lions, Richmond, Collingwood and West Coast twice, and, curiously, will play Carlton for the first and only time in round 22.

In total, the Hawks will play six matches on Saturday afternoon, two on Sunday afternoon with an additional three to start early, six on Saturday night, two on Sunday twilight and three on Friday night.
