North Melbourne continues to kick goals off the field with another sponsorship announcement today.

Astute, a national financial management company, has increased its commitment to the Roos for the 2008 season to become the club’s official finance partner.

Astute Director, and life-long North Melbourne supporter, Brad Wood said he was excited to be upgrading Astute’s commitment to the club.

“What makes this club so great is the way its people go about their business,” Wood said.

“It’s no-nonsense, disciplined, hard work and determination that produces results. We have the same beliefs and values at Astute, therefore we are very excited to be working with the North Melbourne Football Club in 2008.

“We came on board last year and had a fantastic experience, so when the opportunity arose to increase our commitment we jumped at it.”

North Melbourne chief executive Eugene Arocca said this partnership was exciting for North members.

“Securing a sponsorship with such a well respected company is further great news for the club,” Arocca said.

“It’s important we offer our members significant benefits through our partners and Astute’s commitment to the North Melbourne Football Club is tremendous.

“This partnership will ensure our members, staff and players get access to the best financial services and benefits possible.”

Astute will offer an exclusive deal to North members as a part of an extensive Member’s Benefits Program to be launched by the club in the coming weeks. The program will feature a wide range of discounts and special offers from a variety of the club sponsors.

Astute joins major sponsors Mazda and Vodafone, as well as Reebok, ASG and the Aspen Group as North Melbourne sponsors for 2008.
