Port Adelaide has been in winning positions in three of its first four games, but has lapsed in each, resulting in the club’s worst start in history.
The Power are again likely to resist making unforced changes at the selection table with Matt Thomas (plantar fascia) the only player certain to miss.
Lade supported the club’s faith in its players and said he didn’t believe his teammates were necessarily out of form.
“Everyone is not far off it. I think the coaches can see it and all us players can see it,” he said.
“I think it’s more a lack of concentration. It’s just a weird thing in football.
“When you’re confident your concentration seems to be great, and if we concentrated for four quarters in each of our games this year we would’ve had a much better result and record.
“It’s something we’ve been working on for the last two or three weeks - to play football for the full quarter every quarter - and it’s something we’ll keep working on.
“Hopefully we can get a win this week and really build our season from next week on.”
The Power have an impressive record at Subiaco having won nine of their 15 games there.
West Coast are currently in 14th place, one above Port Adelaide on the ladder, and have already dropped one home game this season.
Lade denied suggestions that teams no longer feared playing West Coast at Subiaco.
“They get 50,000 people to every game they play and it’s still a massive task going over there,” he said.
“Our record is one of the best at Subiaco and we’ll be hoping to maintain that this week, but we’ll be coming up against a tough opposition who had a big loss last week so they’ll be out for redemption as well.”
