Watch football manager Geoff Walsh discuss the club's list lodgement.

The Collingwood Football Club has delisted John Anthony ahead of the AFL’s second list lodgement deadline on Wednesday afternoon.

The announcement comes on the same day that club great Simon Prestigiacomo decided to bring his outstanding 233-game career to an end.

22-year-old Anthony, originally drafted by the Magpies with the 37th overall pick in the 2005 draft, played seven games in 2010 for a total of 43 in three seasons at Collingwood after making his debut early in 2008.

Wednesday’s list changes mean the club will go into the AFL Draft, to be held on the Gold Coast on Thursday 18 November, able to select up to five players.

Those draft picks will be: 45, 46, 60, 76 and 77.

In total, 11 players have been removed from the senior list since the end of the season, while six players have been added (including promoted rookie list players).
