Next Saturday night's clash at the MCG between the Pies and the Saints is guaranteed to draw a massive crowd to the home of football, and Collingwood's Scott Pendlebury says his young teammates are looking forward to it.
"It will be (a massive crowd), I suppose. Last year we drew a few really big crowds, and the young boys who will play their second final will experience that," he said on Sunday.
"Next week there'll be a packed house, and there'll be a few boys who'll maybe get a little bit nervous, but they'll be excited.
"We'll put in a good performance wherever we play."
The Pies got Dale Thomas back for the Crows game, but Scott Burns missed again with a calf complaint.
Pendlebury said he hoped the skipper – who was out running laps of AAMI after the match – would return for next weekend's big clash.
Newly-returned full back Simon Prestigiacomo appeared to hurt a shoulder early in the match, but the midfielder said no new injuries came out of the trip.
"He's (Burns) good – he was 50-50 for the Adelaide game, but we didn't want to risk it, so I'd say he'd be right.
"[Prestigiacomo] played on for the rest of the game, and he's a warrior, and so he'll be right this week."
