FREMANTLE has delisted 2004 Port Adelaide premiership player Josh Carr as AFL clubs submitted their first list lodgment on Friday.

Carr was among several players, including St Kilda's Aaron Fiora, North Melbourne's Leigh Brown and Melbourne's Chris Johnson to be released from their respective clubs.

The Sydney Swans also officially announced Nick Davis' delisting, with Luke Brennan, Peter Faulks and Kristin Thornton following.

After just one year on AFL lists, Collingwood delisted Toby Thoolen and Richmond relinquished David Gourdis, who was the first player selected in last December's NAB AFL Rookie Draft.

West Coast defender Jaymie Graham was also delisted after recently announcing his retirement due to personal circumstances.

And after just one season with Carlton, former Crow Darren Pfeiffer has also been moved on from the Blues.

Each of the 16 clubs were required to submit a list to the League by 2pm AEST on Friday with a maximum of 35 players, promoted rookies, retained rookies, scholarship player transfers and international scholarships awarded.

Uncontracted listed players have until 2pm AEST on November 11 to nominate for the NAB AFL Draft, with all nominations closing a day later.

However, Friday, November 14 is the deadline for clubs' second list lodgments with delisted players needing to nominate by November 19.

The NAB AFL Draft will be held on Saturday, November 29, while the NAB AFL Pre-Season and Rookie Drafts are on Tuesday, December 16.
