Andrew Swallow's management has been quick to categorically deny suggestions that the 2009 Syd Barker Medalist will be playing with Greater Western Sydney in 2012.

Reports on SEN on Friday morning alleged Swallow had already signed with the new franchise, but his manager Colin Young dismissed the claims.

"Anything about Andrew’s contract is pure speculation at this point," Young told sportsnewsfirst.com.au.

“We haven’t considered Andrew’s position at all at this stage, so I can categorically say there is no commitment for him anywhere.

Contracted at North Melbourne until the end of 2011, Swallow is currently holidaying in Croatia, before joining his team-mates for a high-altitude camp in Utah.

The 23 year-old is tipped by many to be a successor to current captain Brent Harvey, and finished runner-up in the Kangaroos' club champion this season.

"He is certainly enjoying his football with the club and the exciting prospects of some success into the very near future after a promising 2010 under a new coach."
