A THREE-WAY trade between Richmond, Adelaide and St Kilda has been completed with Ivan Maric now a Tiger and Tom Lynch a Crow.

The Saints received NAB AFL Draft pick 37.

Maric has been pushing for a move to Richmond and the deal finally came through for the 25-year-old, who has played 77 games for the Crows over six seasons.

A big body at 200cm and 102kg, Maric provides the Tigers with much-needed support in the ruck for Angus Graham and Andrew Browne.

"We were keen to bolster our ruck stocks with a more experienced big man and believe Ivan really suits our needs," said Richmond’s football manager Craig Cameron.

"He’s been in the system for a few years now and has the attributes we’re looking for in a ruckman.

"He is highly competitive, aggressive, has a strong work ethic, and the flexibility to go forward and be a marking target.

"We think Ivan will really grasp this opportunity with us and become a valuable member of our playing group."

After playing only six senior games since being drafted by St Kilda with pick 13 in the 2008 NAB AFL Draft, Tom Lynch was in need of a change according to his manager Paul Connors

"I'm grateful [to St Kilda for agreeing to trade Lynch] because I think he just mentally needs a fresh start," Connors told AFL.com.au's Trade Week Radio.

"[Crows coach] Brenton Sanderson has spoken to him, and that's been a breath of fresh air."

Adelaide was certainly happy to accommodate with Crows list manager David Noble saying the former Saint has a lot to offer.

"We have tracked him for a long time and he’s excited about coming to Adelaide," Noble said.

"His chances have been limited at St Kilda as a key forward but his form at VFL level has been good and he can play at both ends."

No trades are official until paperwork has been accepted by the AFL and formally recognised after 2pm on Monday, October 17.
