    The Adelaide Football Club is one of two South Australian based teams competing in the Australian Football League. The Club’s administration and training facilities are based at AAMI Stadium, West Lakes. It has been in the AFL since 1991 and won the AFL Premierships in 1997 and 1998.

    Currently expressions of interest are being sought for the key role of Merchandise Manager.

    Reporting to the Manager of Corporate Sales and Services, this role is responsible for overseeing all of the retail merchandise offerings ranging from apparel, souvenir and other licensed AFL products through our Crowmania store.

    Key competencies or essentials for this position include:

    • Exposure to product licensing within a wholesale, retail or sporting environment
    • Leading and motivating a small team
    • Strong planning and organisation skills with a focus on deadlines and stock management
    • The ability to think strategically including short and longer term merchandising initiates

    It is expected the successful applicant will possess high level communication skills combined with strong computer literacy. Applicants with online retail marketing experience will be highly regarded.
